Mildly tempting if I get into school there. It's hard finding a place to live as a foreigner there
well if u ever find urself dropping by in Sendai in the future im down to meetup so we can roast calvin together
... Sendai is exactly where the school I'm planning to apply to is. Are you a mind reader? Or is it because Taipei's airport is 1/3rd of the international flights there.
fuck maybe i am psychic
Here is a list of things you should do in Sendai/the surrounding area:
- check out the area around Sendai Station, specifically the shopping streets. Lots of interesting places to see
- gfu near the Oomachi subway stop has some pretty good burgers. However be careful not to walk too far past it or you'll end up in an alley of love hotels. It's on the border of the red light district.
- all the weeb stuff you'll ever desire is in the EBeanS building. They've got everything. It's like 10 floors of heaven.
- Take the train to Matsushima and have some gyutan.
- buy as much Zunda and zunda flavored products as possible. This is an order
- don't skip Tanabata.
- if for some reason you find yourself in need of an eye doctor, the doctor at Hideyuki Opthalmology clinic can speak English proficiently. The nurses don't, though, so you'll need Google translate to communicate if you don't know Japanese medical terminology.
