Is continental ranking a good idea?

Hi! I am a speedcuber and in our platform we are always looking the rankings and for us our continental rabkings are as important as our world and national rankings, so, I have always thinked about adding that to osu!.
I know adding this to the servers is not cheap, but it is a good idea?

We already have it by country, why do we need more than that?
