Ok. So, I'm stupid and I've made this mistake a lot of times.

Every time I finish mapping one difficulty, I click "save as new difficulty" to map a new difficulty. (duh)

And this message does not show up.

And of course, I'm stupid as I mentioned earlier, I keep forget that this will not save my work.

I am so pissed because I just did it again <- So stupid

Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please make the warning message pop when doing this.

Just like when making a SB and pressing test or escape before saving.. no conformation message for that either :(

This sounds more like a bug than a feature request.

Is it supposed to pop the warning message? If so it's a bug.

Eh it should prompt you to save after you leave the song setup panel. Any unsaved changes will not save to your backup, because you're saving changes to the new difficulty. You will need to save progress before making a new difficulty if want your changes saved to your original beatmap.

Well, I guess i need to stop being so stupid. good point.

However, instead of just showing this message,

you should make this message pop first IF there has been a change "would you like to save current changes" or something..

Because this thing isn't asking about any changes one's made

It would be useful if it asked you to save before creating a backup.

I think it would be common sense though that if it doesn't ask you to save, then you shouldn't try to clear all the notes and "save as new difficulty" implies that you want to carry changes to a new difficulty rather than your old one. Unfortunately you can't undo that action once the notes are cleared.

I'm not stupid like you but I agree on this fact. I don't want this ever to happen to me. I usually have some cooomon sense of pressing ctrl + s with no reasons all the time, but what if i forgot to press it? omigosh

Support, but not a friggin star

I've lost so many progress, even a whole TV size diff one time. It's just really pissing me off, and I'm sure this has happened to some people.

And I'm that person who doesn't save evrey 10 or 20 minute. I save only when I'm done for that time. And I do that by pressing "esc" and clicking "yes save changes"

I'm saying this again, but some times, when I'm done with a diff, i go to "save as new difficulty" without saving (yes im farking stupid) and yeah.
