[Archived] Osu lazer doesn't detect osu folder in appdata

I had to reset my pc due to a problem with windows so i did a backup of the folder where osu lazer stores all the data. However after reainstalling lazer and placeing the backup inside appdata/roaming all my beatmaps, skins etc doesn't show up inside lazer. I tried to use the function "change folder location" in lazer settings and to pointing to the osu folder but nothing changed, still no beatmaps in game again. can i get osu lazer to recognize the files in the osu folder?

You also need the client.realm for the backup to work

I have it, it was in the osu folder which is the one I have the backups of

Did you run the startup?
You have to load the maps
Maps in osu!Lazer aren't directly accessable so you can't just directly put maps in osu!Lazer folder

yes, I did it when I had to reinstall laser. And again later to check.

I tried to load the maps by changing the folder location. Lazer in that case asked me this: https://i.imgur.com/8tWwD7Q.png but after restarting, still no beatmaps in game
