NRVC is going to bring more fun than ever to the NVC series.
Double Elimination is used.
Auction method will be used to form 16 teams for further stages. Please refer to the NVC discord server for more info.
This is a 5 digits only tourney, with BWS applied.
BWS formula: rank^(0.9937^(badges^2)
Only badges in & after 2021 will be counted.
All players are required to join the NVC discord server.
Players who are not in the rank range when registration period ends will NOT be eligible to participate.
Staff members are not allowed to participate in the tournament.
Players should show respect to staff and each other, toxic or inappropriate behavior can be reported to the Tournament Committee in the tournament report form or the link below.
There will be no warmups.
All maps will be played with ScoreV2.
Referees will inform the players of their matches 15 minutes in advance, and will send invites 10 minutes in advance.
Qualifier Stage
Players can pick a lobby within the default times given, or request a custom lobby with a desired time.
Reschedule is possible if the player misses the scheduled time.
In case of a disconnect, the referee will hold the final decision for whether the map should be replayed or not.
The qualifiers mappool will only be played through once.
Players will be ranked according to the qualifier results.
Players who are ranked above the cutoff line will advance to the auction stage.
Bracket Stage
Teams will be given a default time for their matches. Captains are responsible for getting in touch with DMs and rescheduling matches.
If a team fails to have 3 members present in the match lobby 10 minutes after the scheduled time, the other team will advance.
Both captains will !roll to decide the pick-ban order, the options are First Pick Second Ban, and First Ban Second Pick.
There will be 1 ban only for RO16, 2 bans with ban order ABAB starting from Quarterfinals
Both Double Pick and Double Ban are not allowed, with the exception of NoMod.
A Bracket Reset will be implemented for the Grand Finals.
To determine whose map will be used, wheels will be spinned for each mapslot on livestream.
# of maps picked will be equal among the 3 hosts.
1 or 2 map(s) from the NM slot might be picked by hosts together in case of an unequal distribution.
TB will be picked by hosts together.
NM1 Star rating and match length
Qualifier : 6.5
RO16: 6.2, BO9
Quarterfinals : 6.4, BO11
Semifinals : 6.7, BO11
Finals : 6.9, BO13
Grand Finals : 7.1, BO13
Starting from RO16, freemods will be present in the mappool.
Freemod Rules
There should be at least 2 players with Mods in FreeMod.
There should be at least one Hard Rock and one Hidden.
HDHR counts as Hard Rock; Easy Counts as Hidden, with a 1.75x score multiplier. (875k max)

Further stages will be 1 week apart from the previous stage.
