GENERAL INFORMATION
- This Tournament will be an osu!standard solo open rank.
- This is a Moroccan exclusive tournament.
- As an exception to the previous rule, any Moroccan player can invite one and only one foreign player to the tournament, with a global rank limitation to #1000 (BWS rank).
- Once someone registers, the staff will give them the tournament player role as soon as possible (don't refer to the discord but to the main sheet players list).
- Once someone joins the discord, they have to rename themselves like their osu! in game name to insure the fluency of communication with staff members.
- All staff members can play in this Tournament (since it is not badged this year).
- All match times are in UTC+1.
- Inappropriate behaviour, misconducts, and/or cheating will result in disqualification and blacklist in future iterations. Be nice and play fair.
FORMAT
- The tournament will be in a league format.
- Base on players’ qualifiers seeding, players will be put into leagues of 8 players: Bronze / Gold / Emerald / Ruby
- In the first week, all players play 3 matches against 3 players from their league.
- At the end of the week's matches, the top 2 players in each league move up one league, while the bottom 2 move down one league (unless there is no top/bottom league).
- The second week will the same.
- The top 16 (players who finished in the emerald and ruby leagues) enter a classic double-elimination bracket
- During the grand final, a second match ("bracket-reset") is played if the team from the loser-bracket wins the first grand final.
- The tournament lobbies will be played with Score V2, Player VS & No Fail.
- Jokers are available in this tournament :
- Joker 1 – Mod+ (Not allowed in FM) : Forces a minimum of one additional mod per player. Available mods are HD, HR, EZ, FL (EZ multiplier is 1.8x).
- Joker 2 – Combo Game : The map is played in score V1.
- Joker 3 – Rhythm Game : Highest accuracy wins.
- Joker 4 – Aim Game : Lowest miss count wins.
- Joker 5 – EZ Game : Force EZ on both players, EZ multiplier is 2.0x.
- Joker 6 – The Zone : Force FL on both players, FL multiplier is 2.0x. - Each player can use one and only one joker per match.
- Each player can use a joker on any map except rival protected map or tie breaker. If a joker is used on a rival protected map, a joker is consumed for the match.
- If a player picks a joker, he must announce his choice of joker at the same time as it announces its pick.
- Otherwise, if the non-picker wants to use a joker, it must be announced before the end of the roster timer, which restarts the roster timer.
- Once a joker is activated, the opponent can no longer activate a joker on the same map.
MATCH PROCEDURE
- Warmups (4min30s maximum) must be sent to the referee at least 1 hour in advance.
- A referee will invite the players to the room when your match starts. If you are not invited, let the referee know. (Via discord preferred)
- Any delay of more than 5 minutes will result in the late player warm-up being cancelled, and after 10 minutes the absent player will be disqualified and the match forfeited.
- After one warm-up map per team, the teams roll.
- The roll will decide the pick/ban order. The winner of the roll decides whether to pick first or ban and protect first.
- Each team is entitled to 1 protect and 2 bans. However, a team cannot ban 2 maps from the same mod (except NM).
- Each team then picks its map in turn.
- In the event of a tie (4-4 in Bo9, 5-5 in Bo11, 6-6 in Bo13), the TB (map tie-breaker) will be played.
- In the event of a disconnection, the decision will be left to the discretion of the referee and staff.
