sure your fancy pants wooting keyboard with rapid trigger and analog switches can get to 8kHz but youre getting to a point where the polling rate is fasterr than the frequency of the music itself, at some point theres just no gain, and youre alrleady well past what a human can reasonably do with 1.5kHz, utilizing your full 8000 would only be a coping machanism and i can assure you if you don't know the actuall polling rate you could not (maybe barely) make out a diffrence
assuming the speed of sound is about 300m/s you would be delaying or advancign your fancy polling frames by simply moving 3.7 cm closer or further from ur speaker, 8000Hz makes so little difffence to the human player it would realistically only increase cpu usage but no real performance could be gained other than maybe a boos in confidence ofthe player
put simply, 8000Hz might sound liek a large step from 1000 or 1500, but it won't be of any benifit for the player because of physical, technical and human limitations,
if you wanna get good, practice, but you won't need 8000Hz polling rate, its not gonna make you any better even if its 8 time as fast
