COE mapping contest

this is a mapping contest open to anyone attending COE 2024
it's not managed or sponsored by event staff

rules
  1. mapping theme: create a map with the two slidershapes on your keychain (find me at the venue to get one!) (ctrl+g is allowed)
  2. osu! only (sorry tcm)
  3. one difficulty
  4. don't upload your map until after the contest ends
  5. use a featured artist song

prizes
  1. 1st: i cover the cost of your COE ticket (only event/byoc, no cave)
  2. 2nd: i cover the cost of one merch item you purchased at COE
  3. 3rd: i cover the cost of one pizza ordered at COE
save your receipts!

submission
  1. submissions open July 30 (first day of COE)
  2. submissions close August 11 (a week after the last day of COE)
  3. submit your .osz here: https://mappersguild.com/contests/listing?contest=66883582dc1247de2c3155ea
judges will evaluate maps after COE ends!

a couple updates:

1. the deadline will be extended by a week. most people won't have the flexibility to map at the event lol

2. a max of 30 people (groups?) can participate, and it's first come first serve. more details will be explained on day 1 \:)

each keychain has 2 slidershapes, and they're the only slidershapes your map can use
