Playing both lazer and stable is what a lot of people do. In fact, if you played mainly on stable before, please give osu!lazer a try too!

I mean playing on both clients at the same time. So while you set one play, you can set another. I'm sure there are programs to focus 2 tabs at once so it should be possible.
