idk i'm trash at this game so it just feels like watching a different game, like fastest human drum machine game. i don't get very hyped about those stream scores tbh. it is more exciting to see cool scores from my friends
You think anyone's gonna SS a 200bpm 11* dt map right now?
Honestly, I don't really find it interesting. Understandably, it is obviously hard to tap 300 and have a smooth flow aim for that.
I would rather watch unique plays like first FCs on really hard tech/alt maps for example.

I do appreciate how far speed has been pushed in the past 2-ish years. it's truly insane to watch scores like these, and yeah the 2k pp play is probably sooner than we think. I love it
definitely agree with the person above, other playstyles should get more rewarded. hopefully not at the expense of speed again, it kinda sucks how there's always one meta rather than multiple ones at once so a lot of people just end up being underweighted even though their scores are one of a kind as well.

Well, maybe not SS, but if you saw Cloutiful's play you wouldn't put a high acc FC totally out of the question.Voidedosu wrote:

You're free to enjoy other plays more but I'd think an FC on that with 3 mod (and especially with the acc that Cloutiful seems to be able to achieve) is very unique.Louis Marble wrote:

Meanwhile Deconstruction star, a 9 year old map with zero FCs on the leaderboard, would only be worth 817 PP with a HR SS.
It's exciting in a sense that osu is being pushed to the limit of what current players are able to do, but I personally don't find it all that interesting. Don't get me wrong 300BPM, AR11, OD11.1 is very impressive and it's cool to see how the skill ceiling has risen over time, but I haven't been interested in PP records or top player ranks since Whitecat was unbanned.
I find watching any other mod(s) besides DT way more interesting, so players like mlaw, ekoro, woey, -gn, umbre, etc. solely because DT has dominated the game for so long at this point.

It's pretty cool I guess. Not super interested in it personally, but I enjoy when new records are set, even if it is farm on purpose.
Plus, the mapset is a fun 200bpm stream set, so it's a win for me.
