Update 8/29/2025:
As of today, over 470 tournaments have been added to the osu! Liquipedia. This includes all of the OWC's but also a ton of community tournaments, like the COE tournaments, The Roundtable and Resurrection Cup. The editor team has grown from 9 to 17 editors and we have developed a lot of processes to help with creating, editing and maintaining the different tournament pages.

Next to the tournament pages, there have also been almost 1200 player pages created. These pages are viewable for people here and display those who have either made great contributions to tournaments or have achieved great feats in the tournaments that have been added to the Liquipedia.

The osu! LP editors team is still looking for more people to help with adding and updating tournaments. If you are able to help, please follow the steps a little later in the post under "How to get started". If you want to add a tournament, please come by the discord server and drop the forum post link in the #osu chat so the editors can look if it's notable. We would love to help with any questions you have.

What is Liquipedia about?
In short, Liquipedia is a Wikipedia-like database for anything tournament related. The site is 100% community driven and anyone, with a Liquipedia account, can contribute and submit changes to the created tournament pages or make new ones from scratch.

What can you find on the tournament pages?
On the osu! Liquipedia wiki you can find records of completed, ongoing and future tournaments. This includes qualifiers, showmatches and other miscellaneous stuff related to tournaments. On the individual tournament pages, you can find all information related to the tournament: Rules and Format, Core Staff Team, Prize Pools, Participants, Mappools and Brackets.

How are tournaments categorized?
Each tournament has a different level of competitiveness, and that is also reflected on the wiki. Tournaments are split into different tiers depending on their prize pool, region and importance in the community. The tiers range from S to D, with S being tournaments like the different World Cups and D being smaller local tournaments. This way, you can get a feel of tournament importance in one look.

Do players and staff also get pages?
Short answer, yes! The osu! Liquipedia also has pages for players and staffing talents, but not everyone gets a page. Only the players or staff that reach a certain threshold* will have their page created on the main wiki. Their page can have previous results or tournaments they have staffed in, their setup information and some other things about the player or staff themselves on it.

Why does the osu! Liquipedia exist?
All of this is done to preserve osu! Tournament history in a way that is easily accessible for everyone!

How to get started
The whole wiki is still a Work In Progress and we are looking for more contributors. Want to help out, follow the steps under here to find out how you can help out!

To get started you need a Liquipedia account. You can make an account here and don't forget to join the Discord Server! If you don't see the #osu chat, go to the #new-members chat and type /addrole role:osu and you should get access to the chat.

After that, you can visit the Create an Article and Edit an Article pages on Liquipedia. If you have any questions about the wiki or need help with creating and/or editing pages, you can ask them in the #osu chat in the Discord Server. Just beware that the main language is English in the #osu chat!
