Not really sure where to put this, tapping issue

How do I fix my tapping? I've been told by a 4 digit friend that it's atrocious for my rank (but my aim is good), so I really need to focus on it. Problem is, I have zero idea where to start. Do I start learning to alt from 2 stars up? I don't want to relearn the game. I don't have any great plans of becoming a top player but I just want to see some progression. I can pass highway to oblivion without notelock but I can't jump 180 bpm tv size maps without completely failing. I just don't really get what's wrong or how to fix it. Link leads to a replay of one of my most horrible offenses (I had something in my eye but I just suck). https://osu.ppy.sh/scores/2917353216
Literally anything to get me started on fixing the atrocity that is my tapping would be much appreciated, it's weighing down on my consistently greatly and ultimately reducing the amount of fun I get from the game.

FYI that link you provided does not give us a replay.

Are you asking about general tapping and accuracy? Like are you struggling to even acc jumps (or maybe you're even missing because your taps are so out of sync)? Or are you asking more specifically about 1/4 patterns like bursts and streams?

Edit: My bad I see now that the replay is downloadable.

I have no real problem on streams and bursts, and I know how to get better. It feels almost like a mindblock issue where my fingers just fall behind the beat, but it happens across every map. Even though I can tap plenty fast enough, my fingers just... don't? My acc has never been high priority (I've tried to fix it recently), but yeah I basically just have trouble keeping up with 180bpm jumps despite being able to stream 200-220 some days no problem.

Is your cursor always that unstable? It seems like you were even having trouble just staying on sliders.

I might be completely wrong about this but I think sometimes an aim control issue can feel like a tapping issue. Reason being that it becomes much harder to sync aim and tap when your cursor control is not precise. In fact everything can just fall apart when your cursor control is not precise.

I haven't looked at the replay yet, but you're 100% right that this is a possibility.
