Just before updating the game, I got the “connect to a network” error. I uninstalled it and I get this file.

Also.... I have already tried downloading the installer via another VPN, tried opening it as administrator, but nothing works. Also, I think it's a problem of the computer itself because in another laptop I have if the game works correctly with the user account. (Also taking into account that where I try to install it is a Windows 8.1, but I doubt very much that is the problem because before this it worked correctly).

I'm not sure about that because I get this window every time and it closes. Even if I keep opening it. It's like a loop.

osu!stable (and lazer) check to see if you are on the most updated client whenever a new iteration of the game is open, that is why you are seeing that first screen.

What I am more curious about is after that screen.

Please use the wiki link below to locate a crash log, if one exists. Once you have located the crash log, please copy and paste its content into this thread here so we can take a look at it and see what is going wrong.

Well... by doing all the steps I got the message that no error was found.

And about what appears after the “client is updating” screen, nothing appears and just closes the window.
I downloaded it again from home/download, but it still doesn't appear. I must emphasize that after doing that some files are loaded and then immediately deleted, appearing the “.require_update”.

I tried to download an osu from an old version (2015) via mediafire, and I get the error that the game is not connected to a network. This error also happened to me before, which led me to uninstall the game and want to reinstall it and here I am. It's weird because right now my computer has a network.
