hi, can anyone drop any tips for countering sweaty palms while playing? I don't have a rubber band, so I cannot do the rubber band method. Furthermore, whenever I use a cloth around the pen, it makes my grip all weird. Anything would help, ty

Maybe try wrapping your pen in grip tape or toilet paper?
If not, maybe try a small fan aimed at your hand or something

1. Washing your hand before and during plays, I promise washing your hands during and before a session is really helpful at cleaning up built up sweat.
2. Using a mini-fan near your hands, This is probably the best way to prevent sweating but it may make your hands cold.
3. You can use overgrip, these are normally meant for tennis but they are essentially a better version of using cloth/rubber bands, they are also cheap and probably the best method for stopping slipping they also dont really affect grip.
