Ranked score is the total of your best score in every difficulty of every ranked map that you've played whilst online.
It won't increase if:
- you already have a higher score in that difficulty of that mapset
- the map you are playing is not ranked or in an outdated version from before it was ranked
- you are offline and thus the score is unable to submit
- you fail to complete the map
