I'm not a new player, but I'm new to the forums and looking for mutuals now that I'm playing more often nowadays!

Feel free to ask me anything! I'm an open book, happy to answer anything you might be curious about.

To start, though:
  1. My name's Slick! I also go by Vermillion;
  2. I'm a 20 year old 4k mania player from the United States;
  3. I've dappled in classic (tablet & keyboard) and taiko (keyboard), but taiko makes me dizzy lmao;
  4. Some of my other interests are art, writing, music, DOTA 2, Darkest Dungeon 2, Baldur's Gate 3, and Monster Hunter!
If you don't have a question, I do:
What osu!mania keybinds do you use? I'm looking into trying new ones, and seeing what people find comfortable!

FUN FACTS
> I earned the Hush-Hush - Value your Identity achievement, but it doesn't show up because I completed it on Lazer. I haven't played on Stable in years. :(
> I tried mapping once. I set the BPM, mapped the first quarter of the map, and then gave up. It was... really, really bad.
> I cannot, for the life of me, play with the default mania keybinds (DFJK). They feel so close together, it's like my hands are choking. I've played with WEIO for a long, long time. I'm currently experimenting, though.
> I like SV mania maps, but I'm not that good at them right now LMAO. Other than that, I'm mainly good at RC maps.

Thanks for the welcome!
I write mainly as a hobby. I've written requests for others most of the time, which winds up being prompts about their interests.
Recently it's been longform fanfics about whatever people request.

I remember trying a bottom row config similar to ZX,. before, never the first one though! Maybe I'll give it a shot!

i have a few questions!

1: how did you discover osu?
2: what's your favorite music genre, artist from that genre and favorite song from that genre? (mine's rock/punk, green day and holiday/boulevard of broken dreams :3)
3: what's your favorite food?
4: favorite color?
5: you don't have to answer this one if you don't want to, but what are your pronouns? i just want to know so i can refer to you correctly!

Hey lostsilver o/

1. I discovered osu! after playing mobile rhythm games like Deemo and Cytus with friends; we eventually moved to osu!
2. Going off of Spotify records, my favourite genre is probably meme rap, favourite artist from the genre is bbno$, and favourite song from it is probably lil' freak (i see london i see france is a good close second)
3. My favourite food is Mac 'n' Cheese!
4. Favourite colour is crimson, specific hex is probably #660000
5. I go by they/them primarily, but I do have my pronouns page linked in my main post if you're curious about the rest! ^^

I'll also happily add you back! A no DM rule is easy to follow :)

ooo!! my pronouns are she/her, they/them or she/they, and i'm bi or aroace! still figuring my sexuality out :3

When I need to do physical writing, you can never go wrong with a Pilot G-2 in my opinion. Another cheap good pen is the Sharpie S-Gel. If I don't want a gel pen, I've used 1.0mm Micron Fineliners before. (That was mainly because that was what I had on hand because I also used them to draw, but I loved writing with them as well.)

Now, I'm not good at using fountain pens, but I do remember I used a Waterman; I can, at least, recommend using one of those.
