- Skin is fucking awesome. Really.
- Sliderball should IMO be changed a bit - the "ball" center should correspond with image center. It'd fit nicer. Also, without skin.ini to fix it, it behaves wrong after hitting reverse arrows. Consider deleting it and using one that works on this map :)
- BG needs to be scaled/cropped to max. 1024x768, I did it for you (attachment at the end). I only scaled "Street Fighter" logo.


Place timing sections that change hitsounds set or volute 1/4 *before* the note it's mean to change - if player clicks note too early, he may get wrong sound. (Unless maybe it's already fixed.)

IMO this feels like a borderline Hard-Insane. Increase Overall Difficulty to push it into the Insane region? It's great as it is but not as Insane as it could be (without going overboard). =]

Needs more Finish. Places like 01:05:071 (9) work well with Finish.

01:22:028 (1,2,3,4) - Use timing sections to increase volume and stuff, yanno.
01:33:071 (2,4,6) - Eh what.
03:20:057 (5,6) - Move timing sections BEFORE the note. Otherwise, if you hit the note too early, you'll hear the stuff from the previous timing section.

Wow... this skin is awesome.

Offset: Armin is right, it's 6866.

Also, why is there a green timing point on top of a red timing point that isn't a kiai? Can't you just make it a single red timing right there? (because the only reason I know for having both a red and green timing point at the same time is when the start of the song is both the kiai and the start of the beat)

  1. Sure, it's a great skin, but didn't you took it from an existing skin already? There's one in the forums, and you just copied every file there (you even copied unused files!). This is not really effective for the filesize. You must first download the latest version, and set it as the preferred skin (Song Setup -> Storyboarding). You can place a download link in the Author's Comments so everyone knows where to download it.

00:54:865 - IMO this is a weird place to use Kiai.

01:06:000 (1,2) - Please reduce the number of repeats (2) has, right now it's impossible to know it'll have more than one repeat.
01:11:072 (1,1) - Try to NOT use notes right after a spinner. This is one of the cases where I noticed this more, but there are several other cases here.

[Hard]
  1. Delete the first Inhereted section.
  2. Background isn't set for this difficulty. You need to reinsert it.
  3. Offset isn't the same as the other difficulty.
  4. The difficulty is very similar to [Normal]... I don't think this will get easily ranked.
01:02:057 (2,3) - Please redo these sliders, some lines are missing.

01:06:058 (2) - like gens says, its pretty much impossable to tell what to do here, seen as its a normal diff
01:28:086 (4) - its begging for a new combo there XD
02:06:000 (2) - ugly placing

put grid on 3 and go through your map, you will see theres is lots of nazi probs if you wanna fix them, you dont HAVE to but if you do it will make your map look much better :)

Aww, too bad you've mapped the english version, the japanese one is so much better. :P Spacing and combos are alright but the patterns are boring imo. I don't like it how you've added the kiai time sections and remember, you should always place them on a note! You should also remove the first timing section with the 600 BPM on [Insane], otherwise the sliders are fucked up. Btw. there are skin elements which aren't used (menu-back.png for example) so you might remove them and you should credit the skin creator. ;)

It seems like the map is missing two of the difficulties? I only receive hard and normal when I attempted to look at this map. Try full-submitting this map to see whether if that fixes it. If not, I'll hit up on the support team to see what's up... XD

Anyway, about the actual map itself... I actually had Mystearica look on it as well, so part of this modding post will be coming from her.

[Normal]

Well, we both generally agreed that the claps and whistles seem kinda random... it is suggested that the claps are put every other beat to create a solid basis for the map, if you are to use them... and the whistles generally don't fit, especially on the cases like:

00:46:008 (1,2,3,4,5) - Myst had suggested generally removing all the whistles and then keeping that finish on the end, and I agree with her on that one, it does sound better without the whistles

Same case with...

00:48:294 (1,2,3) - An interesting concept that Myst gave me when we were modding this map is that since this combo's number of beat should be the same as the previous combo, since they share the exact same rhythm. This means 3 repeats one less and whistles are removed with a finish ending it.

Those are just some examples, but generally, the hitsounds do need work... though by no means are they unbearable. It is just that it could be better. :P

00:50:580 (1,2,3) - This could also share the same rhythm with the combos before it... so, you could use the same hitsound setup on it by adding an extra beat on the red tick.

[Hard]

This map sounds better than normal, in my opinion... with the lack of whistles present.

The claps are... well... a little bit scattered. For example, I think the claps in the beginning is used correctly, however, places like:

00:31:437 (10) - Just a finish is really suffice here.
00:35:437 (10) - Same thing with the end of the slider, the clap seems misplaced here
00:38:294 (5) - You have a clap here... and that sounds fine... but...
00:39:723 (5) - Makes me wonder why is there no clap here then!

One of the point of clap hitsounds is that you have to really make sure you got a rhythm with them... clapping is supposed to be rhythmic after all... you don't hear people clapping just once in real life either. :P

Anyway, generally, from what I have seen, this map is of ranking standards... but it could definitely be improved. I could only give a star for now anyway, since I haven't seen the other two difficulties. :P

Overall this is a pretty enjoyable map, but it could still use some improvement.
Easy
I'm noticing the same clap/whistle thing that MaxwellDemon pointed out.

One example would be at 00:27:437, where the first two and last two beats use the clap sound, while all but one of the other beats use the whistle. I'd personally recommend using the clap on 1 and 3, and then using claps on 00:29:723 and 00:30:865, along with removing the clap from 00:31:437 (and possibly making that a finish)

besides various similar hitsound issues, the only problem I noticed was the slider at 02:05:437, which seems a bit too close to the previous spinner for an easy difficulty (although changing this is really up to you, since it doesn't exactly make the map impossible to pass or anything)

Normal

-00:56:580 would probably sound better with a clap
-the beat at 01:19:151 seems a tiny bit too close to the previous note.
Other than that, the majority of the random clap sounds seem to have been fixed, but I did not see the earlier version of the map, so I can't say for sure.

Hard
The spacing of the notes in the opening of the song have almost random spacing, even though most of the notes are the same distance apart.
Other than that, this difficulty is fine

Insane
No problems. :3

Note to other BATs: please refrain from ranking this map untill EEeee adds his difficulty, which he tells me will be very soon. If a week passes after this post, EEeee's difficulty isn't posted, and the map is suitable for ranking, then go ahead.

Alrighty, almost everything looks good but there's still one thing.
In EEeee's difficulty, the credits say "Beatmap by Amodeus" ;_;

What you can do is check the "Diff Specific" box in the other difficulties (under Design). Then delete the credits SB from EEeee's.
OR you can make an SB saying "Beatmap by EEeee" ;P

Still need a little bit of fine-tuning, unfortunately.

All the problems seem to relate to the Storyboard (or skin). XD

OK, so bear with me here...

Storyboards have a max dimension of 640x480, unless a scrolling image, where it can be 800x600. Therefore, I would like you to resize the following images:

For easiest results, simply halve the sizes or something (You know, go into Photoshop, size down the image by 50% or something). If you do that, you can simply go into all your Scaling commands and double them.

For example:
Sprite,Foreground,Centre,"go.png",320,240

S,0,163437,164008,0.1,0.6439999
F,0,164008,164151,1,0

will become:
Sprite,Foreground,Centre,"go.png",320,240

I haven't tested this myself, but it should work (I needed to do this for a storyboard I made myself).

In addition, you need to make the go.png Object that starts at offset 163437 difficulty exclusive to everything besides [X EZ]. (The go.png at 2:43)

Speaking of difficulty exclusive stuff, why not have your Amodeus credits in [X EZ] and [Normal]?

Next up, the following skin items are unneeded, at least to my memory. o3o

I suggest renaming Normal to Medium and Insane to Hardest (the equivalent SFIV difficulties). Also, the slider ball doesn't flip when it reverses. This should be fixable by placing the SFIV skin's skin.ini file in the beatmap folder, but osu! seems to ignore it for some reason.

I also noticed some slight spacing fluctuations in this difficulty as well. If you're fighting with setting the spacing properly, try using the Alt + shift for finer adjustments.

Including the entire Street Fighter 4 skin is extremely redundant. You should probably remove pretty much all of it, since you set it as the preferred skin anyway, so people who have the skin will see it. If you'd rather include some elements so people who don't have the skin installed will see it, that's fine, but definitely go in and delete all the menu stuff and results screen stuff, since none of that appears at all in the map. Huge waste of space and it makes the map a much larger filesize than it needs to be.

You should remove the second "Fight!" SB element from the osb and make it difficulty-specific, so it doesn't appear in Easy. THe Credits E5 image doesn't seem to exist in the version I downloaded.

(ahh, looks like these were mostly pointed out already. I'm useless :| Still, you should be able to delete much more of the skin than Starrodkirby suggested)

02:18:304 (5) - Need to make this closer to (4) so that the three notes look even together.

Not sure why the slider ball isn't flipping. You might have to doublecheck the skin coding again and see what's up with it.

No, what this is saying is "The skin.ini file isn't doing shit". I'm pretty sure this is a bug of some sort, so just let peppy worry about it.

Anyway, I've only checked the old problem areas, but you seem to have fixed all but one problem.

Skin.ini does nothing when placed in a map folder. This isn't a bug, it's a feature that has been requested a few times but not implemented.
