I'm glad someone realizes this besides me.
It's not an RM filter is it? My school has that. The only thing you can seem to filter for is pornographic/adult content...Metruzero wrote:

My school wants to change the filtering system, but they can't until they get rid of stupid RM.
T'is amusing though. Myself, I use an unfiltered connection to bypass the default proxy.
My school blocks osu because it has forums and then they block a site that has sounds in the public domain for "song downloads."
My school blocked image searches. You have to be creative and go to websites like "www.google.co.uk" where it will actually work.
Being in the UK, that is filtered for us. I use google.ca when I haven't fired up my unfiltered set browser :3

Schools have almost absolute authority over blocking anything entertainment related.
Although my school left hulu open...for some reason. But hell with it I have a few forums still available and I've only got 3/4ths of a year to go, senior projects were all finished in the first quarter so it's an easy ride till schools out.
