im now sure if im progressing too fast or too slow
but yesterday i was around 620k at rank, and today im at 598K
should i take a break?
(bcus i fucking hate it when i rust even if i take a 1 week brake)

You're progressing quick and that's good, but don't let slow progress be demotivating. Find other things to enjoy in the game if possible. Eventually you will hit a wall and progress will slow, keep pushing and improving. If you don't hit the wall I guess you will be the next top player haha
