interest in singletap.?

Good morning.!

What is the point of singletap?

You might as well always use both fingers simultaneously, right? When I played mouse (right hand) I did singletap, it seemed easier to me, but since I switched to tablet (left hand), I don't singletap, because I find it useless. So I learned directly with two fingers.

Right or wrong? Your opinion.?

If you get the job done, it doesn't matter how. Many people find it easier to acc while singletapping. I exclusively full alt and have ever since I was 6 digit so I can't give personal commentary on that.

practicing fingercontrol you can focus on one finger more, when u singletap/start patterns with it

some stuff is only a problem when starting with other finger sometimes

You can be sure if you hit something on time

With the same muscle and finger, you can be sure of your own tapping. For making a habit to do some degree of alternating, is definitely taking some learning curve to do so. And also a matter of comfort and how they play to each players

Whatever suits you buddy, but in my opinion, singletapping is great for finger control and it is easier to acc, but it can be really draining.

From my point of view the singletap is easier and hand testing but prevents good progress with both fingers. It also breaks the rhythm, I think. I think that at a very high level, it is more intuitive to switch fingers with each click. We go faster, we are more in rhythm and it is more intuitive. But at low level, it requires more endurance and mastery.

Below whatever bpm you can singletap, there's no real difference between singletapping and alting except for what you find more comfortable and how you've trained your muscle memory, and maybe having less stamina while singletapping.

Once you go above your singletap bpm then alting is better because it's hard to hit that bpm while singletapping.

Alting is probably better in an objective sense, like how you can argue that tablet is objectively better than mouse, but in the end the difference is probably slim (for the bpms where you can singletap) to the point it's best to do what's most comfortable for you once you do know how to alt and can play the high bpm stuff.

i'm perfectly fine with both tapping honestly; singletap or alternate are the same but i personally thing that choosing what's better is totally subjective. there are players who find alt very difficult so they singletap and vice versa

if i had to choose, i would say that singletapping in general is good, but alternating when the BPM is too slow or too fast is a priority as well

Personally I think alting is a useful skill to have, but that may be because I can only singletap.

i have very problems with singletap like when is very bursts in a row or 2 stacked notes(3+ in row).
For me use alt is like very hard i already try learn for a time but i can't soo i can't talk about how is alt.

Well to me I sometimes use both single-tapping and alternating when playing a map if I play a low bpm map that is pretty challenging or I sometimes alternate whilst trying to focus on the rythm. (Mostly when there's both a pause and a stack..)

Yep, if both is what you want then just play however you like. You'll improve either way.

She also has quite the head start from months of osu droid before actually playing on bancho

Oh yes it’s true that we can play offline! Never done. 😂 I like to see my progress in pp go up little by little.

Any tips for streaming faster? Maps recommended.? I'm SLOW with this hand. 😭
