[Archived] osu! reverting changes to config file

I have my beatmaps on an external hard drive. I tried changing the osu! config file to point to the right directory but it always reverts back to "Songs".
I also tried deleting the osu!.db file but it didn't help.
What should I do?


osu! version: Stable 20230814.2

Hello, could you transfer the osu in its entirety to the hard drive, the osu can be delicate at certain points xd, so copy it to the hard drive and try to run it there, since osu only has access to the music that is in the same folder (i.e. the songs folder)
