Captain's description (by Silhoueska Elze):
HowToPlayLN has made numerous kinds of maps in the scene. This map of +ERABY+E CONNEC+10N is certainly no exception, as it has proven to be quite a well-structured and very challenging map from start to finish. We've seen a long note map and an SV map on the Loved category, so why not have a Hybrid map for HowToPlayLN to showcase his mapping ability?
What makes this chart so difficult is not only how fast-sounding it is, but also the numerous patterns that are thrown into it. Of course, it being a hybrid chart means that there's a fusion of different kinds of patterns thrown into the mix, with minijacks, graces, rolls, and bursts for rice, plus density, technicality, and releases for LN. If the first 40 seconds of this map feels easy, don't let that fool you! Once that part is over, we start to see numerous instances of what makes this map so challenging.
Having an influx of patterns that could really make you miss would be nerve-wracking to play, especially if you're trying to shoot your shot at a top spot on the leaderboards, or ESPECIALLY if you are playing this in a tournament setting. We've seen this map being played in notorious tournaments, such as Speed of Light 2, and the Springtime osu!mania Free-for-all Tournament 6, just to name a couple. We've also seen players struggle on a few parts, and only a handful of players can secure an FC in the first place.
Let's not forget that these two tournaments used the short version of the map, which is around 2 minutes and 29 seconds long. What more is it if you were to challenge the full length of the entire chart, which is roughly 5 minutes long?
That being said, are you ready to show the world how skillful you are in these kinds of patterns? Then go give this map a positive review and support it through giving a positive vote!
Please use this thread to discuss why you believe this map should or should not enter the Loved category!
