Tournament tailored to all African players
(African Cyber Gaming League).
To start the series big, there will be 2 different game formats:
Battle Royale and Single elimination 2v2 Teams. You can register for both or just either one.
Our aim is to develop the osu! player base in the entire African region. Many players have never played in tournaments before or are not good enough for international tournaments, therefore, by uniting Africa and introducing local competition, we foresee players improving and unleashing skills they never knew they had.
Playing in tournaments is also a great way to make friends and exchange experiences.
At the end of the day, there can only be 1 winner, however; I am sure everyone can enjoy the process and have fun.

Key Points
please read- All African players are welcome. (You MUST have an African country flag on your profile to participate or ways to prove citizenship from an African nation. Manual checks would be done on a case by case basis.)
- Battle Royale: February 15 (Thurs)
- 2v2 Teams: February 16 (Fri) to February 18 (Sun)
- SAST (South African Standard Time) would be used. (UTC+2)
- Casual and competitive players from all skill range are welcome. We are here to bond and have fun. (Recommend comfortable with at least 4⭐maps)
- Sign up from the ACGL website.
Select the format(s) that you would like to participate in and click "SIGN UP". (Requires an ACGL account) - You can add your discord under "setting" to receive messages/ reminders from the ACGL bot on the ACGL website. Follow this guide for more details.
- Please join the Official ACGL Discord where communication would take place. Select the "OSU!" role for pings.
- The exact logistics for both formats are to be determined as it heavily relies on the skill range and number of players. Rough outline are as follow:
- For 2v2 teams, players would register solo. Then you can form teams later. If you cannot form a team. Teams would be put together by us.
- For Battle Royale, a set number of maps would be played per lobby and the bottom scorer(s) would be eliminated until 1 player is left.
- Match Procedures, Brackets, Mappools, Scheduling and Prizes will be confirmed and communicated at a later stage.

- Lastly, please share this with all your African friends. Although we are the weakest region compared to other continents, we can still unite and form a community. We hope everyone could have fun and make friends through this event.
