Qualifiers
The Qualifier Stage will be played in the first week of tournament play to eliminate the amount of players down to a preferred number. If the amount of participants exceeds 48, everyone ranked worse than #48 in the Qualifier Stage will be eliminated. If the amount of participants is 48 or less, the amount of participants will get cut down to the closest power of two. If there is more than 32, but less than 64 Qualifed, a Playoffs Round will be held.
This stage consists of 7 predetermined maps, each testing a different skillset in an attempt to accurately rank players in performance. Each skillset are as follows in order:
Stage 1: SV
Stage 2: Accuracy
Stage 3: Coordination
Stage 4: Jumpstream
Stage 5: Density
Stage 6: Mixed Rice
Stage 7: Hybrid
The Qualifier Mappool will be released approximately one week before the stage begins. Players will play all 7 maps up to two times in a scheduled multiplayer lobby. The highest score of both attempts of every map will be counted. A referee will invite you 5 minutes before the scheduled time and will provide you with further instructions. If none of the regular qualifier lobbies work for you, you can request a custom lobby at any time when the qualifier lobbies are open. There will be no warmups in the Qualifier Stage, so please warm up before your lobby starts.
Player performances will be ranked according to the average rank of the player across all 7 maps. In case of a tie, the player with the higher total score will be on top. This means that you essentially will be playing against every other player of the tournament in this stage and not only the players in your lobby.
Playoffs Instructions
Players between the seeds of 17-32 and 33-48 will face each other in a single elimination Playoffs Round to determine who will take the last 16 spots in the RO32. Losers will be eliminated.
Playoffs:
10 FreeMod Maps + 1 Tiebreaker | Best of 7
Bracket Matchmaking
The following stages features a double-elimination bracket with the remaining players. Each stage will feature a new mappool that will be released approximately one week before their respective stage. The size of the mappool will depend on the stage.
Round of 32:
10 FreeMod Maps + 1 Tiebreaker Map | Best of 7
Round of 16:
12 FreeMod Maps + 1 Tiebreaker Map | Best of 9

Match Procedures
A referee will create a multiplayer room 10 minutes in advance. Players must gather during this period.
The room settings are mania, Head-to-head, ScoreV2.
The room name must be "SWM: (Player A) vs (Player B)".
Each player is free to select up to one warm-up map. Using beatmaps with questionable content is prohibited.
All maps must be osu!mania 4K specific maps and have a drain time of 3:00 or less.
Each player must use "!roll" once in #multiplayer. After the rolls are set, the pick/protect/ban phase will have the following steps:
The winner of the !roll starts protecting one beatmap, followed by the loser of the !roll to protect a beatmap. They may not protect the same beatmap. Protected beatmaps may not be banned.
The loser of the !roll starts banning one beatmap, followed by the winner of the !roll to ban a beatmap.
The winner of the !roll starts picking the first beatmap of the match.
Map picks will alternate between each player until either one player wins the match or both players need one more point to win the match. In the latter case, the tiebreaker will be played. If a map ends in a draw, the map will be nullified and replayed.
Players are allowed to add Mirror, Hidden, Fade In and/or Flashlight.
NoFail will be enforced on all maps.
IMPORTANT: REFEREES, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO HAVE "Allow multiplayer invites from all users" ENABLED TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO INVITE YOU TO MATCHES! THIS ALSO APPLIES TO QUALIFIERS AS WELL!

Qualifier lobbies will be held in various hours. Each lobby has a maximum capacity of 16 players. Players have to select their desired lobby during the Qualifer week. A custom lobby option is available for those who can’t fit into any lobby that works for them. For custom lobbies, they must put “Custom, <date>, <time(UTC+0)” after Lobby ID: BUT IT CANNOT BE SCHEDULED BEYOND SUNDAY, MAY 12TH @ 22:00 UTC+0, WHEN THE LAST LOBBY WILL BE PLAYED. If you miss a Qualifer lobby, you may need to reschedule your lobby. Failure to attend more than one lobby will result in disqualification.
Each bracket round will be held between Saturday @ 0:00 UTC+0 and Sunday @ 22:00 UTC. Schedules will be predetermined by the host and will try to respect the player’s time zone.
In the Round of 16 and onwards, where player in the losers bracket must play up to 2 matches per weekend, potential matches MUST BE SCHEDULED AFTER YOUR MAIN MATCH, while main loser bracket matches are on a Saturday, and potential matches are held on a Sunday.
Reschedules will only be considered if both players agree to a time and communicate and send the proof of the new time on the #reschedule channel of the discord server, before Thursday 23:59 UTC+0 of the week the match is to take place on.
Matches until (and including) the Quarterfinals Weekend will mostly be played during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). However, while a few matches can be played on Fridays and Mondays, it is a last resort option if both players want to play on those days.
Starting in the Semifinals weekend, we will not allow two matches to be scheduled on top of each other unless it absolutely necessary.
Late reschedule requests will not — under any circumstances — be accepted.
