I mean those arent completely mutually exclusive, and to have good endurance in your legs you still have to do some exercise involving legs, just with more volume and lower intensity.
I have skipped leg day for like 2 months, but that was to fix an imbalance, my upper body was a lot less built than my lower due to my sports. Caught up a bit more now, but still going easier on the leg exercises, good excuse to stay home and do calisthenics instead of going outside to below zero Fahrenheit weather. Starting to warm up to just above freezing though which is nice.
