I just tried Lazer and I went downhill fast. The UI looks good but I may have to re-adjust my settings and get used to the new UI. Which of the 2 do you guys prefer?

Sorry I didn't get what you just said. Can you explain it barney style? XD

basically everyone is going to say stable > lazer but it's just because lazer has differences and people have been playing stable for years so they are used to it, lazer has more features and fixes some core issues stable has (huge audio delay of around 40ms + single threading to fps caps your polling rate)
even saying that i'm probably just gonna continue only using stable cause i hate change

also skinning feels different on lazer so i would need to heavily adjust my skin to make it feel the same as it does right now which is just so much work for no payout

If your pc can handle lazer and you like it, just go for it. I myself won't be going anytime soon to lazer.

I just realized that their type of scoring is different from classic. You have to hit full perfects now. I think I'll go for this since my ratio in classic is so bad. XD

I play Lazer for mania, since Stable doesn't work properly for me on Linux, plus, I compartmentalize Stable with std, and Lazer with mania.

i have a lower end pc so lazer has a lot of freezes and sometimes crashing and a good amount of delay so stable for me is beyond better. The lazer mechanics for mania honestly isn't the best or just needs a bit adjusting(ex: the editor and the scoring system). However stasble feels a bit barebones in my opinion and it doesn't really feel complete. overall lazer works wonders compared to stable with its modifications, graphics, and ui but stable is also good for its compatibility with lower end devices and simplicity.

Lazer for me, for a couple reasons:
  1. Linux support
  2. Downloading beatmaps in the client without supporter
  3. Built in skin editor
  4. Much better multiplayer lobbies
