The first week of the tournament will consist of a swiss format, where players with similar W/L records will
face each other. For the first match, players will be put together based on their ranks and then all consequent matches will have players being put against each other based on the following factors in order.
W/L record (match wins)
Point differential (map wins)
Buchholz
(e.g if you won your first match, that would give you a W/L record of 1-0 and you would then be playing against someone who also has a 1-0 record)
There will be 2 matches played on Saturday and Sunday each, making a total of 4 matches over the weekend. All of these matches will be played with one mappool. Once the 4th set of matches have all been played, your position at the end of the week will be determined by the following factors in order.
W/L record (match wins)
Point differential (map wins)
Buchholz
The top 8 players will move on to the next and final week, which is the playoffs bracket stage. This will be a single elimination bracket played through-out the weekend. The bracket stage will be played with its own pool.
