[Archived] Mania isn't detecting my inputs properly

Problem details: For the past few months I've been experiencing an issue where my game stops registering my keyboard inputs for a short time. I tried adjusting my frame settings, I've tried closing all other apps, I even scanned for viruses. Yet nothing worked at all.

I don't get how you would capture the absence of an input registration but here you go anyway

Are you sure it isn't an issue with your keyboard?

Yes, I played on other games and faced no problems whatsoever.
If you look at the clip, you will also hear that the audio stutters during the bug.
as well as the ms counter going up by 1.
So yes, I'm absolutely sure that my keyboard isn't the issue.

I could record more of this, and I really don't think it's my keyboard issue, as I've changed keyboard, switch keycaps, switch switches, and most of the time the start of ln gets dropped.
any idea what could cause this issue?

rip my notifications LOL.

it is recommended to start a new thread for this, but i think i can help.

back when i played in tournaments, one of my teammates recommended running osu as administrator.
it immediately solved my problems regarding input issues. might be because of the higher frames and less stutters

so i recommend trying to run the game as administrator first. if it doesn't help, let me know
