Fictional bands that are also real bands (sort of?)

Thinking about love live, bandori, metalocalypse, etc on this one... (not vocaloid)
How do you feel about fictional bands that actually perform from vas/seiyuus? opinions?

If you have no idea what im talking about I'm going to link a couple of examples

My first introduction to this type of category of music was of course love live. I didnt think it was possible.
HOWEVER this isnt the only thing that has occured in Japanese media.

(Dethklok/Metalocalypse is the only western example I could think of for this one-- BIG hyperfixation right now as I am making this thread)
((possible epiletic warning for this mv as well; they tend to have a lot of flashing lights in the mvs as well as concert clips))
So, what do y'all think about this type of genre? How is it different to you from when the bands/groups perform live? I just wanna hear y'alls thoughts/opinions on it.

My personal opinion on it is that I genuinely think it is pretty cool, overall it is different, but it is pretty good once you get to learn about the characters and how they perform.

Actually, fictional brands are voiced by real human beings so if they want to make a concert for example, they could as long as they still play the role of that anime character that they are voicing

I was introduced by that with this song https://youtu.be/eSY63LDS2KQ?si=tZkXEovllShzueW3 and I wanted to see them performing this in a real concert so bad XDDDD (kind of like the Vtubers performing their songs in a big screen idk)

Oh yes absolutely!
With Metalocalypse the creator voices three of the band members, charles offdensen (the manager in the show) and Knubbler (The producer of the music in the show) and a couple other characters that make a small appearance.
I don't think I have seen anyone voice characters like that before whenever it comes down to fictional bands.
Also, Dethklok kindof does that when it comes to visuals!
