Hey guys, I found out a useful forum post few days ago, that might help with osu! mouse and potencially tablet movement and response time.

Explanation

It's a registry code on the Windows system, so if you don't have windows 10 or 11 you might be unlucky with this one.

If you are just fine with the default setting, you can just put the default number (that might be around Hexadecimal 14-16). Maybe the default setting of Windows works best for you, it's all a personal preference. (sometimes default windows settings sucks, thats why)

So first you want to open the Windows Search or the keys Windows+R and type "regedit"

Secondly on the top bar of regedit, replace the link with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\PriorityControl

Third you want to Modify the file in blue with the name Win32PrioritySeparation and then choose an Hexadecimal number down this list and hit "OK"!

It might depend on each computer system, but overall between 2a, 26 and 28 you can get the best results for your mouse and tablet input.

2a is the smoothest and controlable, 28 is the most raw experience, and 26 is a more variable choice between tasks.

2A Hex = Short, Fixed , High foreground boost.
29 Hex = Short, Fixed , Medium foreground boost.
28 Hex = Short, Fixed , No foreground boost.

26 Hex = Short, Variable , High foreground boost.
25 Hex = Short, Variable , Medium foreground boost.
24 Hex = Short, Variable , No foreground boost.

1A Hex = Long, Fixed, High foreground boost.
19 Hex = Long, Fixed, Medium foreground boost.
18 Hex = Long, Fixed, No foreground boost.

16 Hex = Long, Variable, High foreground boost.
15 Hex = Long, Variable, Medium foreground boost.
14 Hex = Long, Variable, No foreground boost.

In my opinion works best with Raw Input OFF in the osu! game, be it mouse or tablet (and with raw opentabletdriver, no filters)
I use "Hexadecimal 2a", it's my best option for better response time, smoothness and control overall.

I'm not an expert on this stuff, i just happened to find this post and it worked really well, so if you're an expert on this topic please tell us more!

Edit: It apears that it also helps with your system response time in your desktop aswell (simple things like opening a folder or the task manager), it makes your system faster overall by prioritizing your background applications and programs (so I read when i searched for other websites about Win32PrioritySeparation).
It doesn't harm your PC in any way, and you can change the setting without restarting your PC and game to keep testing the results.

Wait how do we apply these on opentabletdriver? Because I used filters there but I wanna try the Win32PrioritySeparation thing

Just deactivate whatever plugins you have active on the driver, just to be the raw experience of opentabletdriver
But then again, I just tested a bit and got good results, you have to test it yourself too!

Edit: Also, this registry does not harm your pc in any way, it just changes how your mouse and tablet input works, and you might not see a real difference right away, so you have to test it for a bit on the games that you play without needing to restart your pc and game!
