Depends on condition...
If they want simple and less cluttered, get wireless...
If they want low latency play, get wired...
IMO wireless is as good as wired

Depends on what I'm using, but generally wired, because then I don't have to worry about swapping batteries or some shit.
Wired everything. I hate replacing batteries and the latency is better on wired stuff.
Wired, I love seeing those wires during gameplay

i use wired for my desktop and wireless for other devices, including my Wii

To me, wired is for when you need reliability, speed, and low-latency. If I'm just browsing NeoGAF then I don't really care and will just go with whatever's convenient and comfortable.

I go wired when I'm playing osu!, and wireless for everything else.
My wireless mouse has a bunch of nail marks on the side grip back when I used it for osu!.

When my computer was still working I used to run a HDMI cable from my PC to the TV in the next room (Mainly for streaming/youtube or movies) which had a wireless keyboard/mouse and at my desktop I use a wired mouse/keyboard =p
Wireless for gaming can work with some games but not for a game like osu IMO.

Voted for wired because of latency and speed imo.
Wired is the best for playing games. The speed and low latency makes it better than the wireless gadgets. Though you can get wireless gaming gear that is built with something that makes the latency lower, but that cost way more than wired gear.
Wired because latency is the devil. Also because you can't get any zero-acceleration wireless mice.

For me i used wired everything. I just hate dealing with all the batteries, and also wired things just have a special place in my heart.
I like wireless but the battery problems. ;w;
I use wired because its cheap and sufficient. I have better control when its wired.

I love wireless things for the convenience but having to deal with all the batteries is quite pesky , and loosing a wireless receiver (if it uses one) is one of the worst feelings in the world.

This one is accurate to my experience today especially this one:
Wired. It feels more comfortable.

IMO the convenience of wireless is negated by the annoying battery issues, and losing the usb thing. And there's more latency.
I can't live without a wireless headset anymore.

oh wait i have to put it on a WIRED charging dock
the razer mice wireless are a huge joke, to use the wireless function you need to connect a wired receiver module that's about as large as the mouse iteself
extra usb port (yeah, to connect the receiver?)
portability (but i don't use my mouse like a wii remote. neither for my laptop, nor keyboard)
and i'm still restricted my my laptop's charger cable?
wireless headphones are a bigger joke, they either only allow listening on one ear, or go something like this: phone>wireless>module>cabled earphones
what's the point of that again?
the only things that should have wireless on them are remote controls, phones, and laptops ONLY for outside use (use wired at home/work)
wireless charging is still a piece of crap, i thought that would be one great use but apparently you need to shove a case onto your phone so large you'll rather bring a cable around. not to mention you can't lift your phone off the charger else it would stop charging and it charges way slower than your cabled charger

I have a wireless tablet that I use for osu! and headphones where as I have like a wired keyboard and mouse.

Same as others, wired because of the latency. Of course there is lots of wires if your setup is huge but mine is minimal and everything's okay

I prefer wired as I want to avoid having an electrical appliance/controller "cut-out" in the middle of when I'm doing something.
I highly prefer wired because I don't like needing batteries.
