I find it kinda confusing, since according to http://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Hit_Objects, hit object include circle, slider, and spinner, but there's nothing mentioning about "note" in wiki glossary.

So what does it mean exactly? Is it equivalent to hit object? or is it another way of saying circle?

Not so sure if this is the right place to post this topic... Sorry if it's posted in wrong place.

it is equivalent to a hit object. If someone says place a note here, it usually refers to placing a circle at the position in time.

Note = Circle / Hit Object

We use it since in music notes are when you usually play in a song and this is a similar concept.

I usually just say "place a circle there"... But yes, notes refer to a circle/hit object.

So I guess "note" means hit object, and it's tend to/most commonly refer to circle, right?
