So how do people win xp in this game? just becausei saw some guys with 7000 plays and lvl 90 and stuff and others that have 12k and are lvl 90 too so how the ones that played less got as much as the ones that played alot?

Retries are counted as "plays" as well so some people retry more than others. That's all.

The level of a player is based solely on the player's total score. The total score requirement for a given level is as follows:
The progress to the next level is displayed using a bar next to the player's level.
Note: To reach from level 101 to 102, you will need ~1.27 Billion (US standard) score.

Thanks for the help so player lvl is based on score the ones that have more lvl and played less probably played bigger beatmaps that give you more score hmm
