I went to download lazer last day and right before i pressed download, i pressed "check this page for more information" just to see what is new and how it differs from current stable. So i checked through all of it and i immediatly noticed something really off that i couldn't resist and saw where os requirements, it says:
Windows 8.0 and lower Stable YES Lazer NO
And i thought Lazer makes sense, but stable really doesn't. So i thought oldest OS that osu!stable can run is Windows 2000. Why though? Windows 2000 has NT kernel and plus KernelEx. So if vanilla Windows 2000 Kernel doesn't work, then KernelEx adds newer kernel and then it probably should work (likely buggy).
So i ordered Geforce 760 and intel and a dual core cpu (Intel Pentium Xeon) i know, this is a bottleneck, but i found it at really cheap prices. Then i got 4GB of ram (Windows 2000 doesn't support more than that). And that's mainly it. Now i need it to arrive and then i will test it. If it doesn't work on Windows 2000, then i will do on Windows XP, if it doesn't work on Windows XP (it should atleast work with Windows XP). Don't worry i will on what oldest Operating System osu!stable can run. And i will bring the answer here.
If you didn't understood why i started doing this experiment, and didn't read the beginning, it's because osu!stable apparently can run on Windows 8.0 and LOWER
