- This is a 2v2 international osu!standard tournament.
- This tournament will be for players between rank #9,000 and rank #90,000. There is no rank buffer.
- Badge Weighted Seeding (BWS) is enforced. The BWS formula will be that listed in the official wiki page, which is
seed = global_rank ^ (0.9937 ^ (badge_count ^ 2)). - Screening will be conducted by osu! Staff and will thus not be done by any of the Tournament Staff in this tournament. If you feel unhappy with the screening result, please send an email to accounts@ppy.sh to appeal your result.
- Each team will consist of at least 2 players, with the maximum number of players being 4 players.
- All players must be in the rank range by the end of the registration period. Once screening has concluded, players are allowed to go above or below the rank range. Staff reserve the right to remove a player from the tournament if they believe they would negatively affect the quality or fairness of the tournament i.e. having a profile on a private server with enough pp to be outside of the rank range, or otherwise excessively deflating their rank.
- All players are required to join the Discord server. If a player is unable to due to server limit restrictions, please tell an Admin.
- All times will be in UTC format and players should convert the times to their local timezones themselves.
- All staff except Streamers and Commentators are not allowed to participate in the tournament.
- The basic format of the tournament will be like this:
- Qualifiers: ~6.30🟊 NM1, 1 playthrough, no retries, no bans
- Round of 64: ~5.80🟊 NM1, Best of 9, First to 5, 1 ban
- Round of 32: ~6.00🟊 NM1, Best of 9, First to 5, 1 ban
- Round of 16: ~6.20🟊 NM1, Best of 9, First to 5, 1 ban
- Qaurterfinals: ~6.40🟊 NM1, Best of 11, First to 6, 2 bans
- Semifinals: ~6.60🟊 NM1, Best of 11, First to 6, 2 bans
- Finals: ~6.80🟊 NM1, Best of 13, First to 7, 2 bans
- Grand Finals: ~7.00🟊 NM1, Best of 13, First to 7, 2 bans - Mappools will include exclusively vocaloid songs, including covers of vocaloid songs. There will also be (a lot of) custom maps made for this tournament.
- Matches are made in advance before the match starts. Invites are usually sent 5 minutes prior to when matches start.
- Each team is allowed to pick 1 warmup map. The map is not allowed to exceed 4 minutes in length and cannot be a part of the current mappool. The map must also not be extremely explicit in nature. Warmups will be played FreeMod.
- After warmups, each team captain will be required to !roll in the multiplayer chat. The winner of the roll will choose if they would like to pick first and ban last or ban first and pick last.
- Each team is given 60 seconds to ban a map.
- The team that picks first will then be given 120 seconds to pick a map. Picks will then happen in alternating order.
- If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds of the map, the map will be aborted. Otherwise, if the player disconnects after 30 seconds, the map will continue and the player’s score will be counted as 0 unless a score is provided via screenshot. Aborts are allowed once per player, per team, per match.
- On a ForceMod pick, the mods that are allowed for use are HD, HR, EZ and FL. One player is required to use HD, EZ or FL and the other is required to use HR or FL. NM is not allowed.
- EZ will have a 2x multiplier, meaning that an SS on EZ with no spinners will be equivalent to a NoMod score.
- Tiebreaker will be FreeMod, meaning that players are allowed to use HD, HR, EZ and FL with the same ForceMod multipliers with no other restrictions.
- Qualifiers are a round where teams are required to play through the enitre mappool in one try. You are required to play the maps in order from NM to DT.
- Qualifiers results will be calculated by normalized distribution, using a special method to calculate how well a team does.
- Only the top 32 or 64 teams (depending on the number of registrations) will be allowed to proceed to the Bracket Stage. All other teams will be eliminated.
- There will be preset times available on the Main Sheet that teams are allowed to choose from.
- If your team is unable to play or misses the scheduled lobby, you are allowed to select a different lobby that is still available.
- Your team is allowed to create a custom lobby if you are unable to make any of the preset times available. You must ping one of the Admins with a custom lobby request if you choose to do so.
- If a player disconnects on a map within the first 30 seconds of the map, the player is allowed to retry the song and any subsequent songs missed after all the other songs have been played. There is a 5 minute grace period where the player is required to rejoin the game, otherwise the referee will continue to host all other maps.
- Qualifiers Results will be streamed.
