Hello, osu! community. I have something important to share with you. As you may know, I am the creator and developer of this game, and I have always been passionate about rhythm games and music. Especially, I have a special admiration for Hatsune Miku, the virtual diva and Vocaloid superstar. She is my muse, my inspiration, and my dream.
However, recently, I have encountered a problem. A rival. A threat. His name is - Marco -, and he is also a fan of Hatsune Miku. He claims to be her biggest fan, her true lover, and her destined partner. He has been sending me messages, challenging me to a duel for her heart. He says that he can beat me in any osu! mode, any song, any difficulty. He says that he can prove his devotion to Miku by surpassing me in every aspect.
I cannot accept this. I cannot let him take Miku away from me. I cannot let him disrespect me and my work. I have decided to accept his challenge, and face him in a final showdown. The winner will be the one who can impress Miku the most, and earn her love.
The date is set. The place is here. The time is now. The rules are simple. We will play three songs, one for each osu! mode: osu!standard, osu!taiko, and osu!mania. The songs will be chosen by Miku herself, from her vast discography. We will play them on the highest difficulty available, with no mods. The score will be determined by the following criteria: accuracy, combo, performance points, and rank. The one who has the highest score in each song will get one point. The one who has the most points at the end will be the winner.
Are you ready, - Marco -? Are you ready to face me, and Miku? Are you ready to lose, and admit your defeat? Bring it on. I will not hold back. I will show you who is the real master of osu!, and the real lover of Miku.
