[Archived] Displays the country incorrectly within the game

Problem details:

I think everything is clear in the video. The funny thing is that I contacted osu support, and they brushed me off, saying something like 'you have a VPN enabled or issues with your provider' -_- And this issue appeared quite recently after the update

Unfortunately with countries that are pretty close to each other or if you live near a border the routing service and or your ISP can ping towards the border or within that region.

Luckily, this doesnt necessarily affect gameplay and statistics, it just shows where you are in-game.

Yes, that's logical, but there's a catch with the VPN that was in the video (it specifically doesn't reveal my IP), yet it still routes me through Russia (not the VPN service's server location). Then I reconnected, and it sent me to the country where I live. Plus, the ISP is blocking Russian IP addresses for obvious reasons
