[Archived] Main menu settings in game resetting

Changing main menu settings in-game resets every time I close and open the game. Changing other settings works normally and don't reset, just the main menu settings. It started happening right after I updated the game to the latest version. I'm using win 10

osu! version: Stable 20230727.9 (latest)

Where did you install osu? Is osu!.<pcusername>.cfg set to read-only?

It's not set to read only. my osu is installed users/username/appdata/local/osu!

Having the same issue with the same specific Main Menu settings, same version, windows 11. config file is not read-only.

The snow and main menu music are intentionally being forced on for the summer theme.
