I had this problem after i resetet my pc (all settings got resettet)
I sechd up in the internet how to fix it i found nothing so i tried some things my self because playing osu with this lags is simply not possible
i had the lags for a couple days i treid everything ... Reinstalling my graphic driver , reinstalling osu, change osu settings , checking if apps runs in background , stopping all unneeded hardware drivers nothing worked , then i serched deeper changed nvidia settings display settings etc. still not worked then i goesd in the control panel i tried everything and then it came under "hardware and sound / Power Options" i changed my power mode to balanced because on standard its settet to power saving (sometimes) and after a pc restart my osu just worked fine again
it might not work for everyone im not sure , if so just try one of the above named methodes maybe they working for you
Osu pls dont delet this post so people that having this issue dont need to serch hours in the internet for a solution thanks
