gumi is honestly one of my favorites other than oliverRezq wrote:
Gumi is underrated and unpopular to the point where they don't even bother including her in project sekai
underrated? Maybe to Vocaloid normies, but she is pretty well known among most of the dedicated scene, hell rhythm games put her music in their stuff. The reason she is not in Projekt Sekai is due to ownership differencesRezq wrote:

Yeah, I know she is pretty well known in the dedicated scene. I am also pretty dedicated myself. But if you ask the fans of the big ones like Miku, Kaito, and the Kagamine, she got pretty much overlooked because how rare her songs to be popular now. The only popular producer that use Gumi is Kanaria, but now Kanaria switched to MikuUPR wrote:

real talk Xingchen (Stardust) is super underground but she has a decent set of versions
May update my list with more non-crypton Vocaloids when I get back from eating
because Vocaloid fans are like idol fans, they all have their biases. Shit atleast Gumi is big enough to get some popularity, Alot of others don't get that chanceRezq wrote:

I don't know what you mean by that, Vocaloid has been an umbrella term for years. Also banger Ci. Flower songghoulybits wrote:
This song only counts as a Vocaloid song if you use Vocaloid as an umbrella term but it's good and I'm plugging it anyways
Am also legally obligated to plug this
I personally prefer to not use it as an umbrella term since I talk about a fair few amount of softwares and calling them all "Vocaloid" makes things confusing when I want to talk about Vocaloid itself lol though I understand that 99.99% of people do not careUPR wrote:
