There is a another app called VirtualTablet for Android that can be connected with both Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and even USB, which 95% of the times super accurate and lagless. I used it myself for the longest 1 months without a issue.

On your computer hold Windows+R then type cmd and press enter.
Once you've done that type ipconfig into the window and press enter.

You should find your ip address to the right of where it says 'IPv4 Address'

That didn't use to be the case, but this thread was made years ago, so the program may have stopped working at one point or another.

What do you mean by lagging? Is it not responding for a period of time, or is there a delay between when you move your fingers and the game processes it?

Hi im using my Galaxy S10 for this but when I continuously slide my finger there's a brake, like this:

----------------------- -------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ --------

Above is a example of what happens. I thought that was a problem with connection, but those brakes are like a pattern, almost the same hiatus between brakes. I have a internet of 120giga. The problem is the router? If yes, there's a way to use USB?

The problem would not be your router at all. I wouldn't know what the problem is exactly, but I know for a fact it wouldn't be your router. If anything, it would be the processing power on your computer not quite being fast enough to keep up with the constant inputs. Do the breaks last for any significant amount of time? (significant meaning half a second or more)

It could very well have been removed from the app store by Apple. I do know the app is still available for android, but I cannot confirm for Iphone users because I don't own an Iphone.

Hey all! OP here. Pinging this thread again as I still get activity on that video every once in a while to say I confirmed today that the Android app will work with TouchProxy on the latest version of Windows 10. To get to the settings page of the Android app, just shake your phone. I can't figure out if the iOS app is available; it shows up in a google search but it hasn't been updated in so long that it may only be available for older devices. If anyone gives it a shot, let me know. Happy tapping!

+1

Originally tried to make a hacky version using python and sending messages via sockets but it ended up being too choppy but this seems to be a more elegant solution, except for the lack of settings in TouchProxy

This post has been updated as of Jan. 20, 2021! I confirmed that TouchProxy and TUIOdroid will still work. The EcoTUIODriver link has been updated to a newer version, but I couldn't get it to work outside of the preview window.
If anyone can confirm whether or not the iOS app link below still works, let me know! The app hasn't been updated in a while but it still shows up in searches, there's a chance it only works on older devices.

If you have problems, try running the desktop server as administrator!

So I've been using this while waiting to be able to get a real tablet. This allows you to use any iOS or Android device that can install the app as an absolute tablet style controller.

Video:

Requirements:
1) PC running Windows 7 or higher.
2) Either TouchProxy (Windows 8 and up, works on latest W10) or EcoTUIODriver (works on Win7, but I couldn't get it working on windows 8)
Mac: Try Tongseng, I've not tested it as I don't have any Macs.
3) Apps -
Android: tuioDroid
iOS: TuioPad

4) OPTIONAL - A stylus. You can just use your fingers but that just seems weird to me. I'm using a Targa Slim stylus i got at Best Buy.

First off, install the Desktop and Mobile app that works with what you have (good luck getting tuiopad on Android otherwise).
Open up the desktop app to make sure it configures, and check the port it is set to.
NOTE: It may help to run as administrator. I got this working on Windows 10, but not until I ran it as admin.
Next, on your mobile device open the TUIO app and enter your computer's local IP address and the port.
Then just turn on the service from the desktop app and you have touch control! It registers as if you were touching on a Tablet PC, so it's like continuously holding down the mouse.
Remember to set osu! to use a mouse sensitivity of 1 or the cursor will spaz endlessly.

NOTES: For TUIODroid, you have to enter the menu to change the IP. This can be done by hitting the menu button if your phone is old enough to have one, or by shaking the phone if you have a modern Android phone without a menu button.

the reason ecotuiodrivers dont work is because u prob have ur firewall turned off

Since I haven't seen it posted here and others might have the same issue...

I experienced a lot of seemingly random input stutter und cursor jitter using TUIODroid and Touchproxy, leading to annoying misses and frustration. Replacing Touchproxy with TouchInjector (https://github.com/michaelosthege/TouchInjector/releases) fixed both issues for me. In general, TouchInjector seems to work a lot better than TouchProxy, might be worth recommending it in the guide itself.
