Questions to Veteran Tablet Users

I got a tablet for Christmas and want to learn how to "get better with it" and not form bad habits (ill show you what i mean because i think i already formed some =/)

Do you preffer to touch the tablet or hover with the pen/stylus?
Me: I touch the tablet with the "eraser side"
What I heard: Hover or else you will slow down
What I did: Burn my rubber tip completely (need a new stylus >.<)

What keys do you use?
Me: ZX
What I heard: It's your preference
What I do now: Only use X because i can't use Z when i touch my tablet (unless i disable it from clicking at the properties)

What maps should i use to warm up or get better?
Me: Muishiki Psychedelism (Normal:HR,HD) when just casually playing, Tokyo Teddy Bear (Hard) when trying, Muishiki Psychedelism (Normal: HR,HD,DT,SD i have never accomplished this ,but i do it just when i am readying up for a really hard [hard] song)
What I heard: None yet, i didn't look up how to get better videos or posts because the tips are usually for that "specific guy"
What I do now: Other than doing those 3 i mentioned, i get Beatmap packs and attempt to do all the Normal and Hard ones

(Just asking) What's a good skin with a really good cursor
Me: Chokeirito skin from the video "Cookieizi: Im here to come back or delete my account"
What I heard: Cookiezi's or WhiteWolf's skin
What I do now: Still use Cookieizi's 2013 skin

Please enlighten me with more tips if you have any.

You will find a lot in a video of mine. ^^^^^

But as to answer some questions in text.

Hover / Non Hover : I always hover, don't want to wear the tip down and it is more comfortable for me. BUT I do let it touch when I do spinners. I don't know why that is so much faster / better for me. But it is just preference. There is NO right or wrong way in my opinion.

Skins : Well I have that in my video, but I can post it here as well. : My Skin

What keys do I use : I use W+E. Why? Hell of I know.. Not really. When I use Z+X my hand is at a somewhat uncomfortable angle, and I played a lot of WoW while growing up and what not, so I always had my hands on WASD, and I always would use W+E (E Was usually a spell I would start a fight off with)

Warm up songs : I really don't have any. I just kinda open osu, and hit f2 while viewing songs to get a random song and just start there. Usually a song with a lot of streaming is good for warming up just cause it loosens the fingers up a tad bit.

One final note : While this is not necessary. I have a great mechanical keyboard by Razer, and it helps with hand fatigue. It is a bit noisy though, so that's a down side. I will link that here : My Keyboard

It is a bit on the expensive side, especially for a keyboard. But I have had it for years and I still love it.

Look at some of the threads there (Or alternatively, search for tablet help in this subforum). It's a lot more useful than making a thread in the wrong subforum.
Especially if you're looking for veteran tablet users, they tend to flock around there rather than here.
