Problem details: Osu executes and the osu updater says my client is being updated and then immediately says my osu is up to date and then the window closes and then the osu logo appears on my screen for 2-3 seconds and closes and nothing happens after that, this happened when i downloaded 2 of the same maps and put them in my osu songs folder and pressed F5. it said checking new files and crashed immediately. Don't know what to do so I put the error log in here.

osu! version: Stable 20230326 (latest)
Domco
Please try downloading latest wineskin version from here: community/forums/topics/1106057 and let us know if that one works. You might be on older version that is no longer supported.

To add on what to Domco siad, please try a fresh version of the latest Wineskin, and let us know how that goes. Ensure all file permissions are set up appropriately.

If this still fails, please perform a Test Run using the instructions below:

Generating a Test Run through Wineskin
  1. Locate your osu! installation.
  2. Right click on osu!, then select Show Package Contents.
  3. Open Wineskin > Advanced.
  4. Click Test Run.
  5. If osu! starts successfully (even with glitches), you can then close the program down.
  6. Once the program has either closed or crashed, a dialog will pop up asking you whether you want to view Test Run Logs. Click Yes.
  7. Copy the results of your Test Run logs to a pastebin such as paste.gg set to never expire. Then attach the link in a reply to this thread, along with the report from osu!macOS Agent in Step 1.
If you need any help with any of the steps outlined here, check out https://osu-mac.readthedocs.io/en/latest/issues/troubleshooting.html or feel free to make a reply back here on the forums. Thanks!
