Anyone have any maps that they think is fun to play? whether it be weird patterns or jumps, I just want fun maps as long as they aren't like, absurdly difficult. Thanks!

Taiyou to Kurashite Kita - Jyocho, set by dsco

Finding this set years ago literally flipped my music taste around and made me chase the fuck out of tech maps.

It's a beautifully mapped set for a great song. Each diff is pretty good and decently tech-y for the intended skill level; working to figure out the rhythm is a really fun exercise. Bloom gets somewhat demanding mechanically too.

Euclid [ReFaller's Hard] (as an opposite part, do not play [Insane]. IMO it's shit for not even following the damn song in any meaningful way.)
Kodomo Live (Long Ver.) [Hard] (I think all of them are actually really good and appropriately difficult, but [Hard] is the one I like the best.)
Caramel Heaven [Insane] (just this map is the only one I've really played, so I can't comment much on the rest.)
HONESTY [HEART OF SORROW]

So a lot of my favorite maps tend to be maps where the objects and/or the hitsounds feel very in tune with the song or greatly complement it, and my least favorite are where the map is completely incongruous to the song, or just feels like shit is added for the sake of difficulty. Then again, I tend to hate parts in rhythm maps of any game where shit looks difficult almost purely for the sake of being difficult.
