high bpm maps ;_;

I sometimes hate these, because of the diffs always treating the high bpm like for example 220 like it's just a 160 bpm song. Like literally the sliders are 1.5x faster and the distance between this and that feels suddenly so enormous..

Though it is kind of rewarding to finally FC it, especially when it's a frickin modern map hard diff., because I mostly do not like the way the modern mapping era treats, though in the older times.....uhhh... ;_; Not much better, but I guess that'll probably be me having skill issue at this point...

There are always these nonstop 1/2 1/4 rythms that just take away my stamina really really fast, because I can't do >200bpm singletapping and streaming..

The thing I hate the absolute most are maps that are on such an obscurely low bpm to alternate at or ridiculously high to singletap at(like 105-125 1/4 or >200-240 1/2)

I ESPECIALLY DESPISE 120BPM SO MUCH ON INTENSE MAPS OH MY LOOOOOOOOOOOOORD!!!

It fits right in so between of me overstreaming 120bpm 1/4 and undersingletapping 240bpm 1/2 it's just too frustrating at this point. ;w;

maps with bad timing..

(like really bad 2007-2009 timing for the most part)

though idk that's probably less of a frustrating experience than trying to fc a ~200 bpm map...

maps made solely for the purpose of making the mapper popular (pog momment maps, flashy for the sake of being flashy maps, intentionally controversial maps (like ren'ai henki),... etc)

Sometimes it's ironically not their fault, just that they are bad at mapping but their map got popular for these reason lol

Maps that don't reflect the feel of the song very well. Farms are a good example of people overmapping songs that don't really reflect how powerful these songs are. But songs can also be undermapped and that's just as annoying.

Actually, a thought just came out to my mind. I was reminded by videos about explaining things to someone with different levels of understanding (like, explaining it to a child, then a teenager, then an adult). So the difficulty represents how the mappers would interpret the song to a certain level of the player. It would be hard though.

small circles, everything is mapped with triples or sliders for literally no reason, focuses more on being hard than accurately representing the song, timing is weird...

I think they're fine. They're like the basics of what most mappers should be able to do before they challenge themselves.

I think they're fine. They're like the basics of what most mappers should be able to do before they challenge themselves.
But they're not challenging at all which is boring for improvement. I want to play spaced stream and fullscreen jumps forever, not those generic maps.

Yeah but you should play easier maps before tackling on this one. You can't ram a strong door with a small battering ram hoping it'll eventually open. You need to work on that battering ram and improve it's aspect so you can then ram open that strong door.

No, easier maps suck, I just want to play hard maps so I can get used to them. As simple as that

Oh tell me about it, I've tried playing some Laur maps and a few are just tech with cancer sliders. If I ever have to touch fucking Seclusion again it will be too soon Fucking cross slider Istfg

I don't like buzzers being spammed idk why but not as much as those tumour/bumps they put on sliders or just maps with gross intestine looking sliders lol I find it weird to play but it's not too bad. I like tech and slider art tho (e.g. the rocket slider from exit this earth's atomosphere)
