Once Lazer becomes the standard, will score v1 farming be a thing of the past?

I hope not. I just started getting into scorefarming and it's a lot more fun than grinding for pp (ironically scorefarming helps me gain pp since I'm just going from one map to another). I know score v2 will take over eventually but I'm curious if the global score leaderboard will remain the same or get sent to the shadow realm.

I tried finding information on this particular subject but with no success.

In lazer you can switch back to score v1 if you want to from the settings

Hmmm probably not since you can score v1 farm as much as you can in Lazer

Oh okay. Will score v1 plays still be ranked by then?

Well you still can play sv1 with the Classic mod in lazer but I doubt it will be the main ranking system.

anyways this issue has already been raised to the dev team here. you can add any additional suggestions in the relevant github discussion

That's even more annoying. Just make the Classic mod use the original scoring calculation instead of some arbitrary amount.
