I'm not in a great mood rn. Not even making great scores. If I try to play a map, i always miss for no reason. Even if i know where to tap it, it just does not work for frick sake.
I'd suggest taking a break ranging from an hour to a day, because (at least for me) some days just aren't good for osu!. It's most likely that the next day after your break you'd at least be hitting something rather than nothingAireunaeus wrote:

Yeah I think you're in a slump rn, especially with your current threads being about improvement and such. It's one of these times that you doubt your skill and end up developing a bad mindset. Happened to me all the time when I used to play. You can try taking a break for a few days and come back when you're mentally alright.Wimpy Cursed wrote:
You should probably stop playing for today if you are not in the best mood.
You will perform worse if your mood is bad.
The little mistakes that you are making is natural
It happens to everyone to have bad days sometimes. Just take a break and change your mind so you don't force yourself to do something you no longer enjoy.Aireunaeus wrote:

Me when I don't SS a 3* map within 5 tries.Fxjlk wrote:
Your expectations are higher than your capability. This dissonance creates frustration.
If you play with a specific result in mind and focus too hard on that result rather than the game itself you are certain to disappoint yourself at some point. You cant control your performance completely.
Play without expectations. Play for fun or for the process of improvement itself. Don't play for the goal.
You can still have goals if you want but the road to that goal is paved with your focus in every moment.
Also its fine if you retry but like you should retry after you finish the map and if you cant improve the accuracy right now you just can try the map later onAireunaeus wrote:
Well, thanks guys for the Advice. I really need to stop care about accuracy and perfection, despite me fearing to be imperfect. Imma try to stop retrying and move the quick retry key bind to somewhere else.

hmm.. i see, i can retry but not too much like 1000 retries would be overexaggerating.Stomiks wrote:
I'd personally do 1-2 retries at the start of the map before you're no longer able to, although it is best to limit your retries as much as you can. Let's hope rebinding the retry key to another one far away helps.
Yeah exactlyAireunaeus wrote:

Retrying is good as long as it's not to the point where you spend hours on a random map.Aireunaeus wrote:
