The reason you might not improve can be your hardware and it will make you hardstuck at this game.

For example i played 5* maps for a long time and my acc didnt improve. I was dissapointed in myself thinking i have skill issue. At some point i stopped caring about acc at all. I bought hyperx like days ago and now those bad acc scores like c ranks are becoming a ranks after i fix them. I cant believe i really wasted my time improving instead of buying a new keyboard from start. I feel so stupid. I had like really shitty keyboard so yeah hardware issues can make you way worse at game

Sometimes having a good keyboard, mouse or screen can suddenly make you stronger at the game BUT no need to put all your hopes on your equipment by telling yourself that you must have the best keyboard, mouse and screen to be better. Often, it could be due to a skill issue.

There's also a limit where hardware won't be a problem anymore and it'll just depend on your skill. Usually even low-end devices can run osu well, so there's not much need to invest in expensive equipment to play better.

I think the best example of a person playing osu without having the best equipment is FGSky with his laptop and a pillow to support his mouse. If he can make crazy scores with only these, maybe we are all capable of doing it!

hmm can confirm that getting better hardware can actually make you better.

when I bought a better mouse I went straight to 5 digit, when I got a better laptop it was easier to play as it had lower latency, when I got a keyboard well... didnt really affect me much as I bought a cheap one that doesnt even have named switches.

Does he have a setup introduction video or something like that? I'd like to know how he can manage playing osu with that kind of setup.
