Since my parents were very strict about games i never had a chance to have a console in my early childhood. My family pc was technically my first console but it was potato af. Till in 2019 when i got my first console called a ps4.

Tldr: my family pc is technically my first console but in 2019 we got a ps4.

So the question is, what was your first console ever owned?

Nintendo 3DS in 2015 but I had no games until a few months so I was just playing the default apps in the console

My first that I actually had at home was the PS1 in the early 2000s, even though the PS2 was already out my parents couldn't afford it

the Wii
idk when my parents got it but it was probably before I was born
the only game on there was wii sports
I played it alot as a child cause there really wasn't much to do
amazing game (and console)

(there was also the xbox 360, however I think the wii was first in the household)

sadly i sold the wii u, and my 3ds xl broke. (tho i do have a new 2ds xl and i love it to death!)

The Wii. Got it when I was like 5 and then it stopped working when I was around 12. Gonna try out Dolphin emulator to play all my favorite childhood games soon.

I got a Game Boy Advance SP from my daycare provider back in 2005. That was the first console I was bought.

The first console I bought myself was I think my computer, actually, since I built it. :P

Not unless that console is hellbent on preventing modding or any act of pirating. Got screwed over when the switch I bought turned out to be the V2 one.

You must always do research before trying to mod, otherwise problems like this can arise in the future

Yeah I didn't know at the time you can mod stuff. That was just when I started realizing you can get stuff for free.
