7d is too early to call improvement fast or slow. It would be like putting two out of shape people into a 120 day training regiment for a marathon and saying one is going to beat the other because they were quicker on the second day. In your case though, blocking the forums through an internet filter would probably help you improve faster. Stop giving this stuff your mental energy.

Playing a lot more within a given period of time, such as increasing your hours played per day or increasing your playtime per month will generally lead to faster improvement than periods of time where you have played less.

The trick for the fastest improvement is to play as much as you possibly can within a period of time without playing so much that you burn yourself out or get pain/an injury. (also focus on irl stuff such as school work/job before osu)

While playing more is integral for improvement, it does not necessarily guarantee improvement. This is where playing "smarter" comes in.
Don't just spam the same maps or farm or play easy maps for instance, what you need to do is work on your weaknesses so that they don't hold you back while also working on your strengths.
Make sure that you "shred" higher star maps and push yourself, while making sure that you don't wean yourself into relying on high ar or becoming inconsistent. Play star ratings at your normal level too to maintain consistency.
You should probably know what skillsets you need to improve on.

If you can combine a decent period of time while maintaining a large playcount/playtime while pushing your limits during that time, you are bound to improve. except if you're me

play more variety. im not sure what maps specifically to suggest but it looks like you have a disproportionate amount of generic anime maps in your plays

No

From the post:
1. Play more often
2. Train all of your skillset, don't play the same maps over and over
3. Play high star maps and low star maps

You want to make sure you play maps around your usual level too so that you can maintain good habits. For an example I once shredded high star maps for a period of time while neglecting low star maps and I found AR9 to be difficult to read as a result because I failed to play lower star maps.

Shredding is very important in increasing overall skillcap, but you want to make sure you incorporate lower star rating maps as well.

Playing for passes occasionally may help you in pushing limits, but most of the time maps that you are going for passes on you can't read properly and will only develop bad habits. (Unless you know for sure that it's a mechanical skill that's holding you back, such as an inability to stream high BPMS for instance). You don't want to become a wack-a-mole player.

You want to push your limits, but make sure that you can read what you're playing. For me the sweet-spot is low A rank passes for aim maps and B ranks for tapping maps. For me, at that level I'm pushing my limits but I can still read the patterns well enough so that I'm playing properly.

You also want to make sure to incorporate lower star maps in your play session to maintain good habits/reading. I once shredded so hard for a period of time that I neglected low star maps and I found ar9 to be difficult to read as a result.

It's very important to shred to increase skillcap but play lower star maps as well.

I'm not sure as to how this equates to a win on my part but I'll take it?

Just accept it and keep playing or don't. I would type an essay on mindset, playing more variety, expanding the mods you play, etc.

But who actually listens to that nonsense, after all, those are just myths and everything is determinant in genetics...

Play more and focus more on your weaknesses, analyze them, and find ways how you can improve at them.

Although most people at your level are just playing random 4* and improving pretty quickly, so just do that honestly and you'll improve.

You hard plateaud, gene gap, gg go next. Only way to "correct" your lineage from here is to find Jesus in the flesh and request that he provides you with a prodigy to get that osu! dub.

Although, some theorize (idiots, believe me) that should you play the game more than you post on the forums, then maybe, just maybe, you will get that osu dub.

But obviously, anyone who would believe that is probably an uneducated plebian. So, gg go next.

Well in my view you should play more often(if you have much free time you can play it everyday),so you can stay in good shape.
As for me,with the stress from study in March I could only play it on weekends, but every weekend I need at least 1 hour to suit it,that must be a waste of time(((
Some skills will be earned when playing maps, maybe you don't need to train it more, enjoying frist(Although sometimes I break my computer screen)
